PRE-EXHIBTION Eartherapy Workshops are held at Sekoele Holistic Living Arts Centre in Bloemfontein.
Volunteers qualifying as Earth Builders are able to share in the experience of building the Cultural Wall in the Oliewenhuis Art Museum.
The workshops are facilitated by Lenosa Mahapang: a Regenerative Artist, Earth Builder and co-founder of Sekoele.

EXHIBITION PHASES
June
The first phase of the three-month exhibition period commences, which is the collaborative experience of physically building the
Cultural Wall or 'Meraka' (place of gathering). Starting with the collective collection of tyres and waste, the structure of the wall is created. Earth is rammed into the tyres to solidify the structure, which is serpentine in form.
Meraka Cultural Village with Sekoele Holistic Living Arts Centre are collaborators in the shared building experience.

JULY
The second phase of the exhibition starts by introducing of the more-than-human-kin collaborators (live snails) in the exhibition space.
The snails will live in a 4-meter holding space, where they will co-create by eating into high-end Fabriano art paper.
These paper artworks will become an evolving art installation within the gallery space throughout the exhibition period.

JULY
The third phase entails the installation of the visual arts exhibition.
The opening of the exhibition is 15 July 2025 and coincides with the Vrystaat Arts Festival.

The FOURTH phase is the live performance which connects to the Pan African Cultural Exchange (PACE) taking place between 9-13 July 2025.
